We are committed to ending the plastic flood and creating a plastic‑free nature.

We are H2Org – “for a plastic‑free nature e.V.,” a coalition of individuals passionately dedicated to preserving intact natural habitats, free of plastic. We advocate for environmental protection, preserving natural waterways, and providing access to clean water.

Our mission is to halt pollution of the environment and stop the spread of microplastics in rivers and oceans, protecting freshwater and marine ecosystems and ensuring clean water access for all.

Our vision is a plastic‑free nature, where intact, clean waters can sustainably fulfill their ecological and societal roles.

Education as the Key

Without education, no behavioral change is possible. Our interactive educational programs reach people in unconventional ways and show how anyone can act against plastic pollution—to protect both nature and our future.

These programs raise awareness about the formation and dangers of microplastic, promoting sustainable behavior change and supporting positive policy influence.

Our nature is suffering under the growing plastic flood. Large-scale cleanup events remove plastic from rivers before it becomes microplastic via natural abrasion processes and eventually reaches the oceans.

Once plastics degrade into microplastics, they are effectively gone forever. We support preventive measures and innovative approaches—such as using recycled microplastics to help filter polluted water—and support students researching sustainable solutions.

There is no good unless you act.

We continuously implement conservation projects, campaigns, actions, and education programs funded through donations, grants, income from our educational services, and membership fees.
